Currently listening to the audiobook James by Percival Everett while I walk at night. I started listening to James two nights ago. The book is from the perspective of Jim from Huck Finn. The author has a good sense of humor, especially when it comes to the interactions between James, Huck, and Tom. I’m not too far into the book yet, but I like how it gives the reader insight into how James and the other slaves adapt to their situations in ways that help them maintain their sanity.
